English translation included. Subtitles for Tamil films are usually much worse then those for Hindi films. Because of that I haven't worked on many as I can't create the subs. But with Anu we have a truly professional-quality subtitler which makes the film a joy to watch and the translations a joy to read. Don't let not understanding the language deter you from watching the film. With Vijayanthimala in her prime and ably assisted by Gemini Ganesan and Anjali Devi, and with some truly enjoyable dances, this is a very worthwhile way to pass three hours.

A pretty girl and a handsome man are in love but the hero's parents don't approve of the match. They get married without approval and split due to a misunderstanding. Whether they reunite or not is the rest of the narration.
