However, in places they are very crude, so much so I couldn't make any sense of them sometimes and didn't try to. Also, there are missing lines of dialog, some of it important, I think. The audio, while mostly decent, in a few spots becomes 'muddy' or unclear. Badal and Kamini were friends as children and after growing up fell in love. But Badal didn't work and was thought by Kamini's father to be a lazy bum. So, at Kamini's urging Badal went to the city to find work, wound up in the army and returned to the village afterwards. The night he originally left the village he let a beggar stay at his home. The home caught fire and it was thought Badal had perished rather than the beggar. Kamini was heartbroken and was married off to Thakur. Badal returned and, not knowing the truth and thinking he had been betrayed, was filled with vengeance for Kamini.
